The Spanish Edition is the best. Love it.

The two look really similar.. So, I guess I like both equally.

There are too many editions of this book.. So, those would be my favourites.

Frankly, none of the covers were really impressive. They just didn’t have the POP I expect. Anyways, there’s that.

Guys, I absolutely loved this book! It was that perfect dark, twisted fairy-tale. I read and watched the movie very recently.. And I loved both of them! I would highly recommend the book if you haven’t read it yet!

Young Tristran Thorn has lost his heart to beautiful Victoria Forester. But Victoria is cold and distant–as distant, in fact, as the star she and Tristran see fall from the sky on a crisp October evening.

For the coveted prize of Victoria’s hand, Tristran vows to retrieve the fallen star and deliver it to his beloved. It is an oath that sends the lovelorn swain over the ancient wall dividing the village from the adjacent meadow, and propels him into a world that is strange beyond imagining.

But Tristran is not the only one seeking the heavenly jewel. There are those for whom it promises youth and beauty, the key to a kingdom, and the rejuvenation of dark dormant magics. And a lad compelled by love will have to keep his wits about him to succeed and survive in this secret place where fallen stars come in many guises–and where quests have a way of branching off in unexpected directions, even turning back upon themselves in space and in time

What do you guys think about this book/movie? What’s your favourite book so far?

  1. I haven’t read this book but it sounds interesting. I really need/want to read some of Gaiman’s works. I love the Spanish edition’s cover too.

  2. This book! It’s one of my all time favourites 🙂 Too bad none of the covers really standout for me.

      1. I know. I freaking LOVE GAIMAN! He has a way with his words. His stories are so damn original. I am almost afraid they do exist.
I shall be waiting for your thoughts. Reviews for favourite books are always most exciting to read. XD

  3. I’ve never read the book (I need to) but Stardust is one of my favourite movies! It has a really good lineup of actors too. I just love it so much. I agree though, none of the covers standout over much. They’re all very plain.

      1. Same. I’ve always been put off reading it because I love the movie so much and wouldn’t want to ruin that. But, reading the summary there, which, I’ve never actually done before, kind of makes me want to get back into that world.

It was!! I love Charlie Cox too 💙
